A NEW CONCEPT !
|
One day in the summer of 2006, at a crossroads in an African Park, Vincent Bruna met Jasper Hewitt, a Company Director from Worcester near Cape Town (South Africa). As was his custom Jasper was travelling alone with his family and at the same time testing his camping equipment, ingeniously installed on a trailer chassis... Four months later, the idea of adapting the product in his factory to make it available to our safari guests saw the light. |
| Thanks to the combined efforts of nature lovers, My Namib Africa and Passion Safari, are delighted to make this exclusive, highly innovative concept available to you. It gives you tremendous flexibility and lets you take full advantage of a magical place in total comfort simply by extending your stay somewhere along the way or by changing your itinerary, as fancy takes you! |
We can offer you a journey in the tracks of the authentic and can put you up in the depths of the bush. Our 4WDrive Land Rover Defenders cover rough ground with ease and our cross-country trailers convert into safe, 100% self-contained, comfortable, welcoming campsites.
You can sleep in the spacious main tent that has a sleeping area with 4 elevated bunks. If required a further camp bed can be set up at ground level in the room. There is drawer space for your personal possessions, power for your electronic appliances and easy access to the veranda area where both fridge and freezer are set up.
In case you are travelling with other people, an additional 3-man tent with storage space can be pitched outside in the traditional manner guarantee your intimacy (also has easy access to the veranda).
|
Both of your guides also double as chauffeur & cook and take care of the mobile camp. In order to provide you the best possible service they are present at all times and lodge within the confines of the campsite. |
So as to best satisfy your individual wishes and expectations, the number of guests per safari is limited to 5, if possible of the same origin. On special request only the entire infrastructure (vehicle + camp + personnel) can be duplicated to cater for 10 people.
| Only the nights booked in Lodges are firmly fixed. These are scheduled approximately every third day (depending on your wishes and the type of itinerary chosen) so that you can laze at the side of a pool or, give in to the simple pleasure of doing nothing… Furthermore, you will be picked up and dropped off at the airport in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital, where you will spend both the first and the last nights of your tour. |
Your guides have a satellite phone which is at your disposal so that, wherever you may be, you can be reached at all times in case of an emergency (free of charge) or can make calls (subject to charge - 5€/min.) if you wish.
